Benzaldehyde gave true meaning to the word “picky”, but finally found love with Iolite and got married.
Shiro the cat became part of the family. The breadwinning part of the family, to be precise.

Iolite got a makeover. Her hair was giving me clipping nightmares and it just had to go. As shown, Iolite is a pretty playful person with Pleasure/Family aspiration and LTW to become a professional party guest. We’ll see about that.

Shiro: Great. Another mouth to feed. How about finding her a job???
Lillany: Maybe…. I have some plans for her you know. We need future generations.

Some bonding was much needed in Iolite and Shiro’s case.
Iolite: There I’m holding it!!!
Shiro: For God sake put me down before you drop me, woman.
Very slow progress in that area.

Romance is in the air. Benzaldehyde, although bit reluctant at first, was not shy about showing his affections. Again and again.

Awww, spooning, so cute.

Predictably all that love bore fruit.
Iolite: I blame Benzaldehyde.

Iolite: Benzaldehyde, sugar muffin, I think we’re up for some excitement.

I don’t think that this was what Iolite was thinking of when she mentioned excitement but that night they had an encounter with the local crime community.

Fortunately officer Hello There Handsome promptly appeared.

After some vigorous pushing around…

Officer Hot was victorious in her fight against crime.
Shiro: And we got $500.
Lillany: You’re looking at everything through money.
Shiro: Because I’m the only one making any.

Even though she had suspicions, pop number one still seemed to be a surprise for Iolite.

Benzaldehyde had to explain some facts of life to Shiro.
Shiro. Oh no!!! Another mouth to feed!!!! Just kill me. Kill me now!!!

Shiro: She only got my hopes up with this performance. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered she was just acting.

Benzaldehyde: I can totally hear voices there love. I swear. Your womb is quite acoustic.

Pop number two.

Uhm…. I think Shiro is too precious to risk. Especially with a kid on the way.

Good call.

And Shiro reached the Star status.
Shiro: Again with the surprised tone. Of course I’m a Star. I was born to be a Star.

Benzaldehyde: Good little kitty. Yes you are!
Shiro: The pain! The suffering!! The humiliation!!!

Lillany: You do realize you have a functional, if slightly undecorated bathroom do you?
Benzaldehyde: Yea, but look at how good I look!
Fan service :D

Iolite: The Pain!!! Benzaldehyde you bastard, it’s all your fault. Where the hell are you?

After a bit more moaning and Benzy doing nothing, a new family member was here.

Lillany: Or two!
Shiro: Oh my God. They’re multiplying!
Lillany: That is the idea you know.
And it’s a boy and girl. Meet Cysteine and Glycine

Shiro: They’re not even housebroken? Where did you get them? I think you were robbed!

Shiro just had to face cruel reality of life, and go make more money. The house needs even more expanding with two kids around.

The least that Iolite could do to repay Shiro was to show some affection to the paws that feed her children.
Iolite: Who is our little provider? Who is? You are! Yes you are!
Shiro: If they would only stop treating me like an idiot!

Both Benzaldehyde and Iolite proved to be rather good parents. Constantly fussing about the babies.

Iolite: How ‘bout we give you a bath. You stinky bundle of joy.

Having twins did not extinguish the flame.

They were doing it all over.

Benzaldehyde decided to hang some of his works into the nursery,
Lillany: Benz love, do you really think this is appropriate for young children? It’ looks a bit scary.
Benzaldehyde: Nonsense. It’s perfect. It even looks like a baby.
Lillany: Mutant tentacle baby …

At this point it was becoming hard keeping them away from the nursery.

Benzaldehyde: You got to eat well to grow strong and became a toddler.

Birthday came… and toddlers they become.

Glycine

Cysteine
Twins got Iolite’s skin tone but I think their features are more like Benzaldehyde’s. Especially Glycine, he is the spitting image of old Benz.

Shiro: They’re not much bigger than me. I could handle that.

Shiro: I take it back! Return them to sender! OH the humiliation! … a little bit to the left please.

Family education time. Parenting ain’t easy. Kids need to gain some skills.
Shiro: Oh big deal. It’s not like they have a job.

Cysteine developed a taste for cat food.

Well this one was surprise for me too. No morning sicknesses this time.

Shiro: And there’s gonna be another one? Somebody save me!

Little father-daughter moment.

So he wouldn’t feel neglected, the option of providing Shiro with companionship was considered.
Shiro: Oh no you don’t. That’s mine.
Not much luck.

Twins are cute. Twins in matching jammies are just irresistible.

Pop number 2.

And all too soon, another birthday.

Meet Glycine and Cysteine as post makeover children. I gave them some freckles since they already had their mother’s complexion.

Cysteine : Shiro, you’re the best cat in the whole world!
Shiro: Finally someone who appreciates me.

Lillany: You got fat!!!!
Benzaldehyde: Oh shush …I call this sympathetic pregnancy.

Glycineis living (siming) proof that OCD is hereditary. He cleans bathroom, does dishes and makes everybody’s beds autonomously.

Lillany: Let get you rid of those love handles, baby.

Cysteine was apparently inspired with her father’s burst of physical activity.
Cysteine: Yaaaay, look at me go!!!

Glycine: Cysteine what do you think future holds for us?
Cysteine: Oh stop being so serious, we still have some time before big decisions.

I plan next update very soon, already have all the pics ready. I had some problems with my graphic card. It kept crashing my computer whenever I played. Poor thing just couldn’t handle the heat. We had 38 degrees Celsius here. But I cleaned the fussy little prima donna (you wouldn’t believe the coat of dust that was there) and got us both a fan so we’re on the road again. I’ll definitely be done before Sunday and then it’s voting time and
