Community at GoS: I hate You So bar and island counter

Well vacation is over :'(

It's back to work and back to sims (am I weird because I missed going to work too?).
Finally I'm at my own computer and can spend some time doing whatever I like to do.
Omg, so many new stuff to download and so many legacies to read.
You guys have been rather busy last few weeks.
But I wasn't completely lazy either. I saw that GoS monthly theme is community and decided to join in the fun.

Since I have very little recolours of bars that I could call grungy and that would visually fit in my game I decided to make one.



Title is reflection of my feelings toward island counters so take no offence.

Man that was frustrating!!!

Bar was actually easy. But the island counter made me pull my hair and scream at my computer (poor baby). I couldn't extract proper objects to put in milkshape and use for preview. And when I finally got all the objects their uv mapping was all messed up and textures were not showing properly so I couldn't use it at all.
(does anyone knows solution for this?)

I was planing to do normal counter too but I was just to annoyed with the island to keep going. Sorry bout that.

I'm not really satisfied with how all this worked out but it does not look bad in game so I decided to share it.

Welcome back :) Hope you had a great vacation time. And yeah... you are a little weird for missing work :P
These look amazing! I absolutely love them. Is it just this one color included? Sorry you had such a hard time with it. The result is awesome though. I don't use Maxis counters much, but if you ever get around to doing the matching counters, i would be the first to download, i love your wood textures that much. Gosh, so pretty!

Thank you. I'm trying to find some tutorials on island counters before I try to make more recolors. Because for this I had to load game like 20 times till I got some things lined up. And even with no custom cc in game it's just annoying.

I m in love with? Severus, and I almost hate J.K. for killing him. But I don t. Man, Severus was a real martyr for the Greater Good. (the real Greater Good!) I always cry when I read the part in the book when Severus says his Patronus has always been the doe. : (

me confused? But what the hell. I love Severus too. And from the first book too. I just knew he's gonna be a tragic hero. I was just reading the whole series again and knowing his full story just makes me like him even better now.
